| Editor Hondo's Article by Hondo_Lane_DR The Death Riders by Dusty_DR | The Death Riders by Dusty_DR I’ve been around for a long time, longer than most people you see playin outlaws nowadays. I’ve parted with good friends who I may never see again. I’ve watched the biggest and tuffest gangs slowly diminish into nothin more than a memory. I’ve seen outlaws change, big time. Once upon a time when words like “flooder” or “hacker” were meaningless to us. A time when we all were pretty much newbies (except for monk, I think that fella was born with a few years of computer game experience). We all played for fun, not caring whether we won or lost because, well ya always lost anyway. I doubt Outlaws will ever see days as good as those again. Yup, I think those were the days when it was at its highest point. It was a time of good sportsmanship, a time of honorable conduct, the time when a group of lighthearted scoundrels banded together to make the best gang ive ever encountered, yesiree, this was when the Death Riders first hit the scene. Well, if you havent feggered out by now that the DR’s are gang of people who play the game, Outlaws, yer pretty slow. But whut sets us apart from the hordes of gangs out there? Well lets go for the obvious, were not just a bunch of newbies (cackle) and all the members always put their badge (them little _DR initials) after there name. Like “Lil_Senorita_DR,” hmmm, thats kinda weird, wouldn’t you say? Our fearless leader in his wisdom had his subtle reasons for this. In the death Riders we place the individual as more important than anything else. I can still remember havin Outlaw (our fearless leader) explain how the _DR badge wasnt meant to signify heaps of skill, but a great attitude. To make it in this gang you’ve gotta be a good sport, kind helpfull, etc. Hey dont get the wrong idea, we aint no sissy mommas boys (or girls) we bite back. I’ve been in a bunch of gangs myself, and theres a few out there eager to pick me up if the DR’s ever disband, (sorry guys, for one, the DR’s are less likely to disband than for O.J. to actually have been framed, and if they do im goin solo) doh there I go lettin my mind wander again. Anyway, like I was sayin, I’ve been in plenty of gangs, enough to see what yer average cannon fodder clan is like, and honestly theres nothing out there like us except for the OGB. In short everybody you see with a _DR after there name is part of a bunch of lighthearted individuals, always on the lookout for fun. Wehther it be gettin whooped by Monk and Annie. Or gettin into a contest over who can make Hondo laugh so hard milk shoots out of his nose the fastest. We dont take any lip, and we stand for all that is good and well in outlaws. I'm sure the guys would agree with me on this one, our philosophy is this, this game is only for people who want to have fun, and putting any energy into it for some other reason is a waste of time. In conclusion, if you want to join DR, your outta luck... we're full, (hehehehehe) but if your lookin for a great time, we're the people to come to. I’m lucky I got in this group, I wouldnt leave it for, well, a whole lot of cool stuff. Other works by dusty Caved In - Hold Up (levels) Cleanliness is a burden Coming soon. . .
