  • April 26, 2000 -

    • PahPah has been palin' around with Tuco_Rattone, Starmaster439, Shotgun_Sam and Bootshine. He says they're really good hombres to get to know. Look them up next time you're on the zone and say howdy to each of them. You can't call them newbies by any means, but you CAN call them friend. Tell them PahPah_DR and Outlaw_DR says hi when you see them.

    • I'm still working on redoing Outlaws Canyon. MikeDaKid_DR has helped me a whole lot on it. I'm hoping to release the new version soon. I've also got a request from PahPah_DR to make another level with the same playability as Los Caza. That should be started soon.

  • April 6, 2000 -

    • MikeDaKid_DR has released a new level called Die in the Dark. :)

    • I talked to an old friend of mine today. A friend from the military days hehe... Of course, I pushed Outlaws to him ;) It's amazing how you can lose track of time. I think the last time I talked to him was about 2 years ago. It was cool to talk to them again. :)

    • I'm getting my new computer tomorrow. Can't wait to get it hehe... So, I will definately be on the zone tomorrow ;) I'm going to network the computer room, but it shouldn't take long. I have everything I need to do it with. I have to install the network cards and plug them into the hub, and that's it. All I need now is a T1 run to the house :)

    • That's it. Hopefully, I'll catch everyone on the zone tomorrow :)

    • OGB_Martone has posted his picture(albeit an old one) at the OGB Site. Go to the OGB site, then the OGB Gazette, and click on the appropriate link :)

    • Sadly, FastFingers_DR has left the Death Riders.

    • I'm still working on redoing Outlaws Canyon. But, I may be putting out a new level soon, before that. I'm looking at a small level... Not sure how it will turn out. I'll let you guys know when it's ready for testing.

    • You know, it seems not enough people read Hondo_Lane_DR's article in the DR Chronicles. Check out Hondo's Article. :) It's a great read :)

  • Febuary 19, 2000 -

    • Opey_DR(from our sister clan in Jedi Knight, the Dark Raiders) contacted me the other day. He had a good idea about linking or combining the DR message boards. They keep in touch with each other pretty good through their message board. I think it would be a good idea. It would give us a chance to get to know players in our sister clan. Something to think about. I'll try to come up with something :)

    • Speaking of our sister clan, Sputnik_DR, from the Dark Raiders, has been playing a bit of Outlaws, lately. I've hooked up with him and his dad, PahPah. They are just starting in Outlaws. If you see these guys, play them a bit, give them a few pointers, and welcome them to the Outlaws scene :)

    • And... speaking of sister clans.. hehe... Youngun_DR aka Zeus_DR has been building up his Quake clan, the Death Riders, lately. He's still looking for some good members to add. If you play Quake, and are interested, let me know, and I'll contact him. :)

    • Ok, I think that's it on the other DR clans, for now :) MikeDaKid_DR has been working on a level for Fast_Fingers_DR. The last report on it is posted in the Web Forum by Mike. I'm was thinking about remaking my original level, Outlaws Canyon. I think the original layout(which was cut out when released) was a good one. It was my first attempt in levelmaking so there are a few glitches in it. I looked at it today, and figured out pretty quick that I'm going to have to start from scratch hehe. So, I will probably just call it Death Riders Canyon and go with the original Outlaws Canyon layout, with some minor changes.

    • Some of my news is a bit late hehe... but, just in case some of you guys only check this site, I'm gonna post here.

    • The 1 on 1 IRC Tournaments are back! It seems Savior has won the first tournament. Congrats Savior :) You can get more information on the tournament by going to http://www.outlaws.simplenet.com/. In the old days, I used to play a bit in IRC. Some really cool people there.

    • Arrowsmith is starting a team vs team and gang vs gang ladder called the "Outlaws Clan Ladder". If anyone is interested in joining it, email me and let me know. I'd be interested in playing it, if enough DR's get involved :)

    • I talked to Springfield_DR tonite, and he's coming out of retirement! I'm moving him from inactive to active :)

    • Wow, 2 updates in one month! Well, I only got a couple things again...

    • Doc Rings Hospital by myself and MikeDaKid_DR has been released. Ringneck_DR gave us the go on it. :)

    • FastFingers_DR has joined the Death Riders. Welcome to the gang FastFingers :)

    • Sorry for the lack of updates. If I've not been too busy, I've been sick. go figure... I just have a couple things to mention.

    • This is an Email I received from waw_beignet about the next Outlaws Convention in New Orleans:

      OL bash 2000 in New Orleans on Aug 4, 5, 6.. .. Here's some info! :) (let me know if ya comin if ya havent done so thru email:)

      Right now.. we have the hotel picked out.. 79.00 per nite (weeeeee :) Its the Historic French Market Inn http://www.frenchmarketinn.com/

      When you make your reservations (do it soon.. ya can always cancel if ya need to) Ask for reservations for the Historic French Market inn.. and to speak to Jesse (if possible) tell him you're one of Susan Pierce's party and want to be in the same area of the hotel (no problem if they cant get ya close.. hehe hotel only has 98 rooms ;)

      Their reservation number (its toll free) is on their webpage (the url I just gave) You need to book for Aug 4, 5 (leaving on the 6th unless ya decide to spend longer time in New Orleans :)

      The shuttle from the airport to French Quarter is only 10.00 one way :)

      I'm going to try to get as many DR's that live close to me, to drive to New Orleans. I'll probably rent a van and we can just pile in. Let me know if any of you guys are going :)

    • Sadly, we've lost a couple members within the last few weeks. QuIcK_sLiVeR_DR and Dakota_DR have left the Death Riders.

    • There are some people on my list to join DR that I should be contacting soon. If someone on the list doesn't hear from me within a couple weeks, let me know... I need to make sure that this is done fairly. Remember, in order to be a DR you must live with certain standards that have been with DR since we started. Always be a good sport, no cussing, help people when you can, and just have fun are a few things that make DR who they are. I will be making the selections based on this. :)

  • January 5, 2000 -

    • A new year, eh?  I hope everyone has a very happy new year :) I've kinda been slacking on updates(kinda?)... but, I've been a bit busy... I'll be updating the site as I can, which I hope will be daily like it used to. :)

    • Zell_DR has changed his name to QuIcK_sLiVeR_DR. Sliver has been using the message board lately, and it seems to help alot with contacting me or other DR's... So... Check and/or post to the Message Board often. :)

    • Not much else I can report now... I'll be online tomorrow nite, if anyones interested hehe... I'm just happy I remembered to put the year 2000 above instead of 1999 ;) (Outlaw_DR may not be Y2K compliant) laters...

  • December 16, 1999 -

    • Blazin45_DR has come out with a new level called Trapped. Check it out... Blazin45_DR, BOK_Lady, GDO_NO_HELP, MikeDaKid_DR and I checked out the level tonite. Very fun level. It's pretty much non-stop action :)

    • MikeDaKid_DR has a new website. It's called Mike's Outlaws Page. Check it out. :)  Mike's also got an up and coming interview with Mr_Danger on Dangers Outlaws page.

    • For those that don't know it, the next Outlaws Convention will be August 4,5, and 6 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I've been kinda bogged down at work, and not able to start on the website for the Outlaws Convention. I should have the website up in a week or so. I hope I see alot of us there ;)

    • I had an update for December 11, but I wasn't able to upload it, so it's the update below this ;)

  • December 11, 1999 -

    • Hunt4u was let into the DR's a while back, but was away. I had neglected to add him to the members list. Welcome to the Death Riders Hunt4u_DR :).

    • It looks like the WILD posse may be starting up again, which is a good thing. Hope to hook up with them more :)

    • I'm looking at setting up a website for the next Outlaws Convention. It's going to be at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, August 4, 5, and 6. I'm trying to get all the DR's in Arkansas to rent a van with me and just drive down there. If anyone needs any information on the next Outlaws Convention, email me at outlaw@cswnet.com. I hope that alot of us can make it :)

  • November 20, 1999 -

    • Wow... almost a month since I updated. Well, I kinda got some hints that the site needed updating hehe.. so here it is.

    • I must apologize to Blazin45_DR for not putting his picture up sooner. His picture is now on the DR Mug Shots page :)

    • As you can see by the message above, we are no longer accepting any new members. I do have people that have been waiting to join DR for a long time. Those people will get evaluated and still get the chance to join. Now, when I say evaluated, I mean that we look for people with good attitudes and good sportsmanship. Skill doesn't matter.

    • I think that will be it for this update. I will start updating regularly again, if I can swing it. :)

    • Monk and Spectre have left the Death Riders. The Syn gang has returned, which is a good thing. I really hated seeing that gang break up in the first place. Good luck with Syn, guys :)

    • Blazing_45 has joined the Death Riders. Welcome to the gang, Blazin45_DR :)

    • I guest edited for The Wire. It's now out(Issue #8). Go check it out :)

    • Flint_DR, Malgron_DR and SickPuppy_DR have returned to the Outlaws scene. It's great to see the old hands coming back... Really good to see you guys again :)

    • TJG_Toxic interviewed me for his site, Toxic's Feed Store. It's on his news page ;)

    • I'm gonna try to keep this site updated like I used to. It just get's kinda hard to update with no news hehe.. That's it for today. Catch ya guys on the zone :)

    • OGB_Martone is taking a leave of absence it seems. Looks like he'll be losing his internet access for a little while. Hopefully, he'll be back soon.. :)

    • I need a volunteer... boy, I remember when those words would send everyone running for the hills... hey wait, where you going? hehe.. Kidding aside, I need a volunteer to write an article for the DR chronicles. I may try to put something together this weekend, but I've got to work part of this weekend. So, help! hehe

    • As I stated in the DR chronicles, TGC_Blackthorn has asked me to guest edit for The Wire in Issue #8. Which should be at the end of next week. I'm looking forward to it. So, send those emails to Blacky hehe ;)

    • It seems Nighty has ended the weekly tournaments that she's been hosting. I know she had put alot of work into those tournaments, spending her time on it, instead of enjoying a game or two. Hopefully, we'll be getting to see more of Nighty now though :)

    • Well, that's it for today. I see Monk_DR and Billy_Gunz_DR on the zone... so, I'm off to play :)

    • I know.. I know.. I've been slacking... I would of been updating the site lately, but I've been working alot of hours. I've not even played Outlaws much. I got to play tonite, and had alot of fun. I hooked up with Billy_Gunz_DR and WAC_Thiggyolero in a game of bunkers hehe. It was fun.. Gunz and I both used Bob and Thiggy used Two Feathers. Very interesting game ;)

    • waw_beignet is hosting the next Outlaws Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. The tentative date right now is August 4, 5, and 6th in the year 2000. I think I saw a promise of more spankings hehe

    • WAW_Fallsdown has come up with a conspiracy theory on Issue #3 of The Wire. Check it out, and watch that hard drive space. :)

    • Remember when all those articles for the Death Riders Gazette was lost? Hondo_Lane_DR found his article and sent it to me. I'm gonna add it to the DR chronicles site this weekend. For those of you that haven't read it, it's a great article :)

    • I talked to YoungWolf_DR today. Yeah, I know.. most of you guys probably don't remember him. He was the first one to join the Death Riders. He's been playing EQ, but says he may come back and play some with us sometime. I've known YoungWolf aka Garion for years now. Hehe... we used to hook up in Diablo(before Outlaws) and have alot of fun. :)

    • I got to talking to Guldukat_DR the other day, and decided to let his son,CapCalhoun, join the Death Riders. When you see him, welcome him to the gang... Welcome to the DR, CapCalhoun_DR :)

    • I'm currently working on a mail server for the Death Riders. Starting out, I'm just going to forward email to specific email addresses. So, if you want an email address with the @deathriders.org, email me the email address you want to receive that email with. Basically, I'll forward email to the specified email address. If you change your reply-to address, then when someone replies to your email, they will just see your deathriders email address. :) I may change my mind on this setup though. I'm really kinda limited on resources for the computer I'm putting this on. Let me know, if you guys want this, or would prefer receiving it another way.

    • I'm back from Las Vegas. I had a great time out there. Quite a few outlaws made it, including 8 gangs. hehe, imagine that, 8 gangs in one room, and noone got shot(lucky for me)... We got quite a few pictures of everyone, of which TJG_Lone_Wolf took the most. I had forgotten to bring a camera(oops), so had to buy one of those one use cameras. I ended up getting 27 pictures and I'll post them here when I get them done. Anyway, here's a list of people who made it to the Outlaws Party:

    • hmmm... I've been away from Outlaws for a whole weekend and I'm feeling those withdraw symptoms. I've tried to get on the zone, but getting server is busy. I'll be on tonite though, if the zone let's me hehe... Also, as soon as I can, I'll start giving details of the Outlaws Party :) TJG_Lone_Wolf should be getting pictures added to his site soon.     • OTL(Outlaw's Teams League) is over. Apparently, there weren't enough teams taking OTL seriously. So, %TUFF_Host has decided to shut it down and start over. He's only gonna let in the teams that are serious enough to make it to the games. I think this will be a big improvement over the previous system. It looks like he's gonna start putting the times up for the games to be played. If the other team doesn't show up, then the game is forfeit. I've sent an email to Dakota_DR and he should be emailing %TUFF_HOst for DR team 2. I've already emailed him, and we will be keeping the same teams.

    • I was over at the OGB Site and got to looking at the message board Martone/Hoss put up. It's a well visited message board. I'm gonna start visiting it more often. Never know when you might be able to help someone, or get helped. :)

    • Well, that's it for now. I'm heading to the zone, and maybe Pale's Place for a bit.

    • oops hehe... missed a day. Well, to be honest, I didn't even touch my computer yesterday. It kinda looked dejected today, so I thought it would be a good time to update the DR site ;P

    • I tryed Tahoe out. It was a very nice level. Billy_Gunz_DR, Guldukat_DR, Monk_DR, and myself played a game in it. That was a very fun game. The level allows for sniping which causes other players to hunt down the snipers. I noticed as we got used to the level, we stayed away from the snipe area... I think mainly because Monk jumped in and blasted us away lol... kidding aside, this level was layed out with care. Making it alot of fun to play. I've not even mentioned the texturing... Awesome texturing, but that's what we expect from Martone.

    • ok... I figure, with waw_beignet adding her top ten to her website, I thought I would try something kinda similar... As you guys know, I'm from the south and work on computers.. so...

      "Hard Drive" - Trying to climb a steep, muddy hill with 3 flat tires and pulling a trailer load of fertilizer.

      "Keyboard" - A place to hang your truck keys.

      "Window" - A place in the truck to hang your gun.

      "Floppy" - What happens to your teeth when you run out of Polygrip.

      "Modem" - How you get rid of dandelions.

      "ROM" - Delicious when you mix it with Coca Cola.

      "Byte" - The first word in a kiss-off phrase.

      "Reboot" - What you do when the first pair gets covered with barnyard stuff.

      "Network" - An activity meant to provide bait for your trot line.

      "Mouse" - The fuzzy, soft thing you stuff in your beer bottle in order to get a free case.

      "LAN" - To borrow as in, " Hey Delbert! LAN me yore truck."

      "Cursor" - What some guys do when they are mad at their wife and/or girlfriend.

      "bit" - A wager as in, "I bit you can't spit that watermelon seed across the porch long ways."

      "Digital Control" - What your fingers do on the TV remote.

      "Packet" - What you do to a suitcase or Wal-Mart bag before a trip.
